“Not till your thoughts cease all their branching here and there, not till you abandon all thoughts of seeking for something, not till your mind is motionless as wood or stone, will you be on the right road to the Gate.-Huang thought encompasses an “aim-oriented flow of ideas and associations that can lead to a reality-oriented conclusion”. Although thinking is an activity of existential value for humans, there is still no consensus as to how it is adequately defined or understood. An idea or an opinion produced by thinking, or occurring suddenly in the mind is termed as a thought. In cognitive psychology and the philosophy of mind, a mental state is a kind of hypothetical state that corresponds to thinking and feeling and consists of a conglomeration of mental representations and propositional attitudes. Examples include thoughts, concepts, memories, emotions, percepts, and intentions – “mind” denotes an internal sense organ which interacts with sense objects that include sense impressions, feelings, perceptions, and volition, the element of a person that enables them to be aware of the world and their experiences, to think, and to feel; the faculty of consciousness and thought. An idea or opinion produced by thinking, or occurring suddenly in the mind is termed as thought. In the vaguest of senses, to introspect about life in general, humanity, creation, and other abstract puzzling topics present in today’s world. The questions thought by philosophers have equal measures of passionate curiosity and analytical thinking. Have you ever thought, why do we think? How do we think? manipulating information, as when we form concepts, engage in problem-solving, reasoning, and making decisions is one of the very common life processes that humans carry out. A lot of us overthink and conclude basic probabilities making assumptions our bridge. The classic overthinking definition is, “to think about something too much or for too long.” While it’s human nature to think things through when making a decision or evaluating a situation, it becomes overthinking when you can’t get out of your own head. Overthinking is linked to psychological problems, like depression and anxiety. It’s likely that overthinking causes mental health to decline and as your mental health declines, the more prone you are to overthinking. We give in to that type of thinking and it stresses the brain to the point of irrationality and in some cases, insanity. It is an internal link led by your thoughts which you may wish to change but it drives your neurotic senses senseless. This imbalance results in suppressed decision-making in an unconscious effort to preserve existing options. A shedload of options can overwhelm the situation and cause this “paralysis”, rendering one to not be able to come to a conclusion. It can become a larger problem in critical situations where a decision needs to be reached, but a person is not able to provide a response fast enough, potentially causing a bigger issue than they would have, had they made a decision. When extended over a longer period of time, such processes tend to emphasize organizational dissimilarities.
