Importance of chemistry In relationships

I desire to have a wonderful relationship with my partner. I’m sure that you do too. Everyone does. The most successful relationships are based on two things: Chemistry and Compatibility. Both of these are equally important. If one of them is missing, then something vital in your relationship is missing.  Compatibility of value systems is a well-known factor in relationships. However, chemistry is severely underrated. Yet the chemistry between two people can make or break a relationship.

IMPORTANCE OF CHEMISTRY
What determines our initial choice of partners? When we have nothing to go upon, we resort to comfort levels, vibes and our attraction towards the person. In other words, chemistry tells us whether it’s worth moving on to compatibility by setting the foundation for romance. Without chemistry, there are no sparks between people, hence there is no attraction. This makes for a very boring relationship which turns monotonous.

Good relationships have an air of playfulness and light-heartedness. It doesn’t do to be serious all the time now, does it? Chemistry stimulates us visually and keeps us on our toes. Chemistry disarms, it challenges and keeps you guessing. Good chemistry lends fun and pleasure to our lives, taking away the predictability. Think about it, in movies, TV shows, even celebrity and real-life couples, we pair them together on the basis of sexual tension and how sparks fly between them to make it exciting. That’s chemistry right there.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!
Chemistry is usually perceived to be superficial. People think it depends only on external looks. That may be true in some cases. I won’t deny that to a lot of people looks do matter, but they’re not everything. Someone who only cares about the way you look will leave you the moment someone better comes along. They’ll use you while looking for the next best option. It’s important to vary of such selfish people.  But this is not real chemistry. Chemistry is charisma and mystery. Real chemistry lingers even when youth and looks are gone. It’s important to be healthy, hygienic and well-groomed. There’s more though.

WHAT IS REAL CHEMISTRY?
Your wit and charm matter as do your confidence and behaviour. Your body language is the most important: laughter, smiles, eye contact. Even actions like winking, complimenting and flirting. Chemistry is all about the rush of spontaneity and authenticity. True chemistry occurs when people connect and mutually respect each other. This paves the way for finding if the person is compatible with you or not.

FINAL TAKE
New or old, every relationship can benefit from chemistry. Now that you’ve understood the importance of chemistry, it’s time to put it to good use. Take chances. Challenge yourself to get out of your comfort zone. Be the best version of yourself and don’t be afraid to spice it up a little. Who knows, it might work wonders! Good luck with it.
